rPET is made from recycled PET beverage bottles, achieving a closed-loop cycle from “bottle to tableware.” Producing one ton of rPET material requires approximately 67,000 plastic bottles. Compared to virgin materials, this process reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 4.2 tons, saves 0.0364 tons of petroleum, and conserves 6.2 tons of water resources. rPET tableware is certified to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), ensuring full product traceability and supporting repeated recycling.

Unlike fragile ceramic tableware, rPET tableware has a significantly lower breakage rate during transportation and use, which can markedly reduce operational costs.

Through advanced processing technologies, rPET tableware can withstand temperatures up to 176°C. It can be heated directly in a microwave and cleaned in a dishwasher, making it suitable for a wider range of applications. Some products undergo FDA-certified super-cleaning processes, fully meeting food-grade application standards.

 

  1. Significant Cost Advantage

 

In 2024, the price of rPET pellets remains stable at 8,000-8,500 RMB per ton, which is 12-15% lower than that of virgin PET. Under large-scale production conditions, the manufacturing cost of rPET containers can be reduced by 18%. Life cycle assessments show that using rPET to produce tableware can reduce carbon emissions by 75% and water consumption by 50%.
